Agriculture in a New Stage of Transition

The economic accomplishments of the R. O. C. over the last thirty years have been called a "miracle." During this period, farming land reform policies and the "land-to-the-tiller" program were implemented, facilitating agricultural development. These successful farming land reforms of the 1950s were the fundamental factors in bringing the wings of flight to the Taiwan economy.

Now, the time for the second stage of agricultural land reform has arrived.
