The sun is returning from the Tropic of Capricorn
Spring is returning from the South China Sea
Let spring come ashore at Kaohsiung
Torches of mumian blooms
Moving at the speed of a cross-country race
Will take the news that shakes the south
On a northward journey
Let spring take off from Kaohsiung
