As graduation day approaches, many young people are eagerly and anxiously preparing to go out into the world on their own. According to statistics, some 88,000 students will graduate from college in the ROC this year and look for work or go on to further study.
In fact, it's no longer so much a matter of looking for work these days, some say, but more a question of snatching it. Why is the right job so hard to find? How should one deal with the difficult period of seeking employment? Does a degree in a "dead-end" field necessarily mean a "dead-end" future? Answers to these and other questions are provided in this month's cover story, "Where Do We Go from Here?"
