1 lb. sea cucumber
3 T lotus seeds
3 T red dates
3 T dried scallops
3 T longan (pitted)
3 T mushrooms
3 T small dried shrimps
3 T bamboo shoots
3 T pork strips
1 c broth
1 slice ginger
2 t Shaohsing wine
2 0.5 t salt
0.5 T brown sugar
0.5 t monosodium glutamate
1 T soy sauce
1. Wash both the inside and outside of the sea cucumber, and cut into large pieces. Boil for five minutes.
2. Wash lotus seeds, red dates, dried scallops, longans, mushrooms, and small dried shimps. Soak in water.
3. Place the ingredients in a bowl, then pour in (1). Steam one hour for a nutritious, and delicious dish.
