Products Brought Back from the Mainland Shall Not Bear Propaganda Writing on the Packaging
Customs has indicated that the small quantities of mainland products which travelers may bring back to Taiwan for personal use shall not carry on the packaging labels or writing bearing obvious propaganda of the Communist regime. It is the responsibility of the traveler to remove or scratch out such labels before going through customs.
Customs has stated that prior to revision of the current regulations banning Communist articles, mainland products brought in by travelers in excess of the stipulated limit shall be considered prohibited import articles. The duty-free portion still remains under NT$10,000.
