East Family has a little water buffalo,
With ink-black hooves
And horns curved like a bow.
In spring he eats green grass,
In winter he eats chaff.
He can plow six acres in just one day,
And needs no scolding or whip to obey.
When from afar his master appears,
He greets him with a flap of his ears.
He can pull a cart and push a mill,
And carry little brother over the rill.
