Peculiar images gather and mingle in the stillness of shop windows. Amid the sound and fury of the city they present a start ling picture, at once real and illusory. Sinorama lensman Diago Chiu has been catching them on film from the streets of Taipei for the last three years. His collection, Windows on the Soul of the City, is on show in Taipei at the American Cultural Center from March 16-25.
