As a certain poet said:"See the world in a grain of sand, and Heaven ina wildflower."
If we view them from a lens, what kind of treasures can we capture?
Beginning with the October issue, Sinorama will be offering a column entitled "Portraits/Lives," introducing the lives of doctors, poets, painters, as well as of laborers, actors, or bricklayers. What they have ihcommon is an uncommmon capacity to live their lives well.
A glimpse at their lives will, it is hoped, offer our readers some food forthought.
Reconcile the cosmos, heaven and earth,
the beautiful and the sublime.
Everything on earth nurtures art in our lives.
To love and play with animals,
and not to harm them,
is the source of peace and happiness in the world.
I love art, and will always find new poems
to inspire my paintings.
And if there is poetry in my works,
it is because I enjoy my intoxication.
