Origin: Chahar Province
There's no end in sight to the vast blue sky,
The green, green pastures fill the eye,
Snowy white sheep herds graze and cry.
"Maa, maa," go the sheep as they munch on the grass,
And a lamb nestles close to the young shepherd lass.
"Hurry up, little lamb, grow big and strong,
And my heart will be filled with a smile and a song."
