1.
I move forward along the tracks of silence
Painstakingly following the signs of loneliness
Allowing merciless time
To eat away at my gradually failing eyesight
Until I forget my own desolate visage
Loneliness it seems-
Has long since followed me silently
Devouring every lost nightmare
p.062
2.
Coldly standing here
I know not how long,
I remember only
The ice cold sea water
And the warm wind
Passing over my empty body day and night
This morning
As the drizzle falls
I suddenly remember-
That long lost
Long since misplaced
Physical warmth
p.063
3.
I am surprised
When the gradually silent years
Fall on my long dust-covered smile
Alone in dreams
I remember from a distance
With a single white hair
A youth of torrential rain
p.064
4.
From the moment the smile stops
Eyes descend into futile depths,
A stream of sighs
Sound from the heart of silence,
In an instant
The years disappear
And we are old and wrinkled
p.065
5.
After nightfall
My breathing stops under the bright light
Allowing the loneliness of a face
In a noisy crowd
To reflect alone
