Paintbrushes in the Sky

In early winter, the leaves of the bald cypresses at Nanxing in Tao­yuan’s Daxi District start to turn yellow. There’s a particularly photogenic angle during that season: when we look up, the deep blue sky is like a canvas, while every tree resembles a brush loaded with golden or orange paint, ready to spread nature’s colors across the sky.
